When it comes to charitable giving there are unique opportunities to address your own
needs and fulfill your wish to make a gift to Marymount Manhattan. Are you in the
"sandwich generation?" Do you help support aging relatives by supplementing
their income? If so, this might interest you:
If you make a gift to Marymount Manhattan's charitable gift annuity program,
naming your loved one the beneficiary of the income, you will get an income tax charitable
deduction for a portion of the gift, and your relative or friend will receive a steady income
stream based on his/her lifetime. At the end of the term of the annuity MMC receives the
remainder.
Having the checks come from a third party may help alleviate discomfort for your family member or friend
that they may have felt receiving money from you. And you will have helped Marymount
Manhattan as well!
