Dance Gala Benefit 2008
On May 2, 2008 New York City's community and dance supporters gathered for the 17th Annual Champagne Gala Benefit at Marymount Manhattan College. The event raised a total of $25,325, which supports Marymount Manhattan's Dance Department, its programs, choreographers and costumes and sets. The benefit honored Robert Swinston, assistant to Merce Cunningham, who served as the 2008 Honorary Chair for the benefit performance and reception.
