Frequently asked questions about the DB or Debit Card System
What is a DB? A DB is a debit card system. It works on the same principle as an ATM or debit card. You can draw from your account for beverages, snacks or full meals for you and your friends at any time. The total amount of your purchase is subtracted from your account and you can add additional DB Dollars to your card at any time.
What happens to my unused Declining Balance Dollars at the end of the semester?
Please note, unused DB Dollars carry over from the fall to the spring semester. At the end of the academic year, any unused DB Dollars are forfeited. Select your dining plan according to your expected eating habits and remember, you can add additional DB Dollars in $50 increments at any time.
What do I do if my DB Dollars run low?
Each time you purchase a snack or a full meal, you may ask the cashier to tell you how many meals and/or DB Dollars you have remaining. Add DB Dollars to your account using cash, check, money order or credit card simply stop by the Center for Student Services Office.
How do I sign up?
